Before the Wedding: Planning Your Scene
Before your wedding day, we will connect to plan the composition of your painting. This includes choosing the moment, angle, and overall feeling you want captured—whether it is your ceremony, first dance, or a custom romantic scene.
This step ensures that everything is intentional, so when the day arrives, I can begin painting right away with a clear vision in mind.
Arrival and Setup
On the day of your wedding, I arrive at least two hours early. This allows me to:
Coordinate with your planner or venue on placement
Get Setup
Begin working on the base of the painting
I do need a designated space to work—ideally somewhere visible to guests but not in the way of key activities. A well-placed setup allows your guests to watch the painting come to life throughout the event.
During the Wedding: Live Painting in Action
Once set up, I begin painting right away. Depending on your chosen scene, I will either:
Start painting the background and environment in advance, or
Take a few staged reference photos early in the event to guide the composition
As the celebration unfolds, I continue building the painting layer by layer. My goal is for guests to see a noticeable transformation over the course of the wedding—it becomes part of the entertainment and adds a unique, artistic element to your day.
Many couples love watching their painting evolve in real time, and it often becomes a conversation piece for guests.
After the Wedding: Final Details
While a large portion of the painting is completed live, I take the artwork back to my studio after the event to refine it.
This typically takes about one week, during which I:
Add details
Work on likeness
Adjust colors and lighting
Once complete and I am sure you li, I apply a protective glaze to preserve the painting and ensure its longevity.
Delivery of Your Artwork
After the finishing process, your painting is ready to be delivered—a one-of-a-kind piece that captures the atmosphere, emotion, and memory of your wedding day.
It is more than just a painting—it is a lasting heirloom from one of the most meaningful days of your life.
